On my new website/blog www.dorlanavann.me every Friday this spring (March – May) I am posting about a Free Kindle eBook. This week I am giving away Supernatural Fairy Tales – my collection of short stories, most of which originated on this blog. When I first started this blog, about 5 years ago, I would challenge myself at the beginning of the month by picking a classic fairy tale and a supernatural natural element, combining the two to write a short story, and then post it by the end of the month.
This resulted in 23 short stories. (Four of which I lengthened into novel rough drafts, and two of those I finished and are now available on Amazon: Silverweed and The Princes of Tangleforest.) After a lot of reading (and edits) I chose 9 favorite short stories for my collection.
